

All elective services must be paid for at the time of service. This would include all procedures that are not due to a critical need (the patient’s health would not be endangered by a delay). It would also include all over the counter sales of products and food and prescription refills.
We accept payment in the forms of cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, debit cards and Care Credit.

Existing clients in good standing may be billed for emergencies or critical treatment with a payment plan approved by Skagit Animal Clinic’s bookkeeper or office manager. A minimum of 25% of the estimate required as a down payment at the time of service.
There is a finance charge added monthly to all accounts owed past 30 days. It will be assessed at the rate of 18% annually or a minimum of $7.50 (whichever is the greater amount).
Appointments are highly recommended, this allows us to schedule both your time and our day efficiently. Emergency cases will be seen immediately, which is why appointment delays sometimes occur.
Walk ins are welcome and will be accommodated as time allows, but clients with appointments will take precedent.
We ask, for your protection as well as your pets, that all dogs be on leashes or otherwise confined and that cats be brought in appropriate carriers.
If your pet will be staying with us, either for boarding or medical treatment, we require that all vaccinations be up to date.
For your convenience, and sometimes ours, we accept ‘drop off’ appointments. This is when you leave your pet with us for the day or several hours, after filling out the appropriate forms, so we can exam or treat the pet as the day allows.
